Thierryna Comics, AKA The TCU, is a real-world comic book universe that exists both in the world we live in and in my mind. I decided to shoot the comics in the real world as a result of most comic books being drawn. I grew up with and love comic books. The way they make the world look and the stories they tell. My motto is "Life is art, therefore I am art", and this motivated me to base my comics in the real world so that everybody could take a moment to appreciate the world they live in. The art the sky paints. The buildings we handmade. The smiles that aren't drawn. Real-world comics exist to remind you to LIVE.

The characters in this universe are: Tenna, Thierry, and Richtoven. They are exaggerated personas that exist within me and take turns sitting in the main "Thierryna" chair. Much like how you would have your work voice or the personality you show around your family.

Tenna(£), AKA The Skeleton Man, is The Anti-hero. A reserved, compassionate, and streetwise individual.

Thierry(<3), AKA Mon Thierry, is The Lover. A loud, flamboyant, and careless playboy.

Richtoven(%), AKA Rick, is The Poet. A jolly, religious, and loving champion.

The characters work in a mutualistic relationship to shape and run Thierryna. However, Richtoven and Tenna (especially Rick) believe Thierry is no longer a good fit for the end goal of "Thierryna".

The Identity Series(...*)

"Let There Be Light(*)", the debut EP by Thierryna, was Part 1 of The Identity Series. It was a project to introduce the personas and help people gather an idea of what the characters are like.

"What Stayed In The Darkness(...)", the upcoming EP in the timeline, is Part 2 of the series. It is an EP which focuses more on Mon Thierry and his lifestyle. Titled "Darkness" as both Tenna and Rick see Thierry's lifestyle as such.

The series bears its name as a result of Thierryna's inner conflict on how to proceed with himself. "Is this life really the best for me(?)", "Am I making the right decisions for myself, and those around me(?)", "Am I really happy with myself(?)". Thierryna is lost. And he hopes on this journey of identity that he can find himself. Part 2 is what he hopes to be the final mile in this exhausting journey(...)

Tenna, being the Anti-hero, is able to form connections with both Rick's Light and pure side. While also connecting with Thierry's Dark and immoral side. Which is why he and Thierry have a very loud and fun time on this upcoming tape, "What Stayed In The Darkness(...)". Well (...) for now that is.

The comics you will find below are here to provide context behind certain songs, and provide a story to the listeners on what they can expect next from our boys here in the comic universe.
